What Is an LED Tri-Proof Light?
An LED tri-proof light is a sealed linear fixture built to resist water, dust and impact. Gasketed housings rated IP65 to IP68 let it work in car parks, warehouses, food processing plants and other washdown or high-humidity areas, with 0-10V or DALI dimming, emergency operation and motion sensing available.
What "Tri-Proof" Means: IP, IK and Corrosion Ratings
The three “proofs” are not marketing language — each maps to a published test standard. Water and dust ingress is graded by the IP code in IEC 60529, mechanical impact by the IK code in IEC 62262, and corrosion resistance by the housing material rather than by a rating. A fixture is only as sealed as the number it is actually tested to, so the ratings below are what a specification should call out.
IP Ratings: Dust and Water
In an IP code such as IP65, the first digit grades solid-particle ingress and the second grades water ingress.

IK Ratings: Impact
The IK code states the impact energy in joules that the enclosure withstands under the IEC 62262 test method.

The IK test evaluates the enclosure only. It does not cover damage caused during installation, nor impact on the gasket line, which is where a sealed fixture usually fails first.
Which OLAMLED Series Meets Which Rating
Corrosion resistance comes from the housing rather than from a rating: our tri-proof bodies use PC or glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate with stainless-steel clips, so there is no painted steel to rust at the seal.
