PR-2 Series Recessed LED Linear Lights – Easy to Connect, Low Glare UGR < 19, Suitable for Modern Indoor Spaces
The PR-2 Series is a recessed LED linear light designed for seamless ceiling integration. It combines low-glare illumination with a slim profile, making it ideal for modern offices, retail spaces, and educational environments. Available with either prismatic or opal diffusers, it delivers clean, comfortable light while blending into any interior style.
What Makes the PR-2 Series Different?
Most recessed linear lights are sold as single fixtures. The PR-2 is built to be joined: each unit links to the next one-to-one, so a specification becomes a continuous ceiling line rather than a row of separate luminaires. Around that, almost everything is a choice you make — prismatic or opal diffuser, fixed or adjustable color temperature, internal or external driver, white or black housing, standard or custom length.
- Linkable 1-to-1 for continuous, unbroken ceiling runs
- UGR<19 low glare, with a prismatic or opal diffuser
- Internal or external driver — on/off, 0-10V, DALI-2, D4i
- >130 lm/W fixed CCT, >120 lm/W adjustable CCT
- Custom lengths and housing colors to project spec
Key Features – Clean Light, Flexible Design
Linkable 1-to-1
Connect multiple units end to end for continuous rows of light — one unbroken line instead of a row of separate fixtures.
Low Glare UGR<19
Prismatic or opal diffuser options reduce harsh shadows and eye strain, so screens and faces stay comfortable.
CCT Adjustable
Choose a fixed color or adjustable CCT from 3000K, 4000K and 6000K to match your project’s mood.
Driver Options
Internal or external driver to fit your installation, with on/off, 0-10V, DALI-2 and D4i control.
Custom Lengths And Housing Colors
Not your standard size or color? We customize both to match your project specs.
Flush Recessed Design
The PR-2 sits flush with your ceiling — no awkward gaps. Just a clean, integrated line.
Tech Specs – Just the Numbers You Actually Need
Four standard models, split by length and by how the color temperature is set: -S for one fixed color temperature, -CCT for an adjustable one. Cut-out sizes are listed so you can check the ceiling before you order.
| Model | Length | Cut-out Size | Power | Luminous Efficacy | Light Output | CRI | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| OL-PR2-30W-120S | 1156mm | 1143×44mm | 30W | >130lm/W | >3900lm | >80Ra | Medium rooms, offices, retail |
| OL-PR2-45W-150S | 1445mm | 1431×44mm | 45W | >130lm/W | >5800lm | >80Ra | Large spaces, open areas, supermarkets |
| OL-PR2-30W-120CCT | 1156mm | 1143×44mm | 30W | >120lm/W | >3600lm | >80Ra | Medium rooms, offices, retail |
| OL-PR2-45W-150CCT | 1445mm | 1431×44mm | 45W | >120lm/W | >5400lm | >80Ra | Large spaces, open areas, supermarkets |
Note: every model is available in 3000K, 4000K or 6000K — the -S versions ship at one fixed color temperature, the -CCT versions adjust across the range. CRI is >80Ra as standard, so colors look natural rather than washed out; 90Ra and 95Ra are available on request, which is worth specifying for retail, showrooms and design-focused spaces. PR-2 is the linkable recessed option inside the OLAMLED LED linear light series — pick the length, diffuser, CCT and driver here, then send the project for a factory quote.
How to Specify Your PR-2 Run – Step by Step
01 · Pick your length
1156 mm or 1445 mm as standard, with 1143×44 mm and 1431×44 mm cut-outs. Custom lengths on request.
02 · Choose the diffuser
Prismatic for screen-heavy rooms, opal for softer, more atmospheric light. Both keep glare at UGR<19.
03 · Choose the color temperature
3000K, 4000K or 6000K. Fixed (-S) if the room has one job all day; adjustable (-CCT) if it changes.
04 · Choose the driver and control
Internal or external driver, with on/off, 0-10V, DALI-2 or D4i to match your building controls.
05 · Choose the housing color
White or black as standard, custom colors on request. Black costs roughly 10% of the light output.
06 · Plan the run
Single units, or linked 1-to-1 into a continuous line. Send the run length and we work out the fixture count.
Where Does This Light Actually Belong?
If your project has a ceiling and needs recessed linear light, the PR-2 fits. Simple as that. These are the rooms it ends up in most often.

Offices
Recessed linear runs mark glass-office corridors and cut dark gaps between meeting rooms.

Library
Long linear rows give quiet, even light over desks and stacks without hotspots on pages.

Restaurant
Slim ceiling lines warm the dining floor and keep tables clear of bulky pendants.

Medical Checkup
Flush recessed strips stay easy to clean and gentle for patients and staff in clinics.

Showroom
Continuous linears give even sample light so color and material read true side by side.

Supermarkets
Aisle-aligned linear runs light shelves evenly so products, not fixtures, take attention.
Prismatic or Opal – Which Diffuser?
- Prismatic — less glare, the safer pick for screen work
- Opal — softer, more even glow, better for atmosphere
- Both options stay within UGR<19
- Same housing and same cut-out sizes either way
Both look good — it comes down to what the room is for. If the space is full of monitors, take prismatic. If you want the ceiling line to feel warm and calm, such as a lobby, a showroom or a restaurant, take opal. Nothing else about the fixture changes, so you can mix the two across one project without re-checking the ceiling.
Need a Different Mounting or Optic?
Stay on PR-2 if the job is recessed, needs a continuous linked line and UGR<19 is comfortable enough. If the brief moves, another series in the same family is the better answer.
PR-2 Series Recessed Linear Light – FAQs
Can I really connect them in a row?
Yes. Each unit links to the next, so a specification becomes a continuous line rather than a row of separate fixtures. No special tools, no complicated wiring. Send us the total run length and we work out how many units it takes.
What is the difference between the two diffusers?
Prismatic means less glare and is the better choice for screen work. Opal gives softer light and is better for atmosphere. Both look good — it just depends on what you need the room to do.
Does black housing make it dimmer?
A bit — about 10% less light output compared with white. But if your ceiling is dark or you want the bolder look, it is worth the trade-off. Just size the run with the lower output in mind.
Can I get a custom length or color?
Yes — we do custom orders on both length and housing color. Just tell us what you need and we will figure it out.
How long does installation take?
The housing is slim and fits standard ceiling cut-outs — 1143×44 mm for the 1156 mm unit and 1431×44 mm for the 1445 mm unit. Most electricians knock it out quickly.
Internal or external driver — which should I choose?
Choose the external driver when you want to reach and swap it from above the ceiling without dropping the fixture. Choose the internal driver when you want the neatest install and nothing extra sitting in the void. Both are available with on/off, 0-10V, DALI-2 and D4i control.
Fixed CCT or adjustable CCT — which should I specify?
Specify a fixed color temperature (-S) when the room has one job all day; it reaches >130 lm/W and >5800 lm on the 45 W model. Specify adjustable CCT (-CCT) when the room changes use through the day. Adjustable trades a little efficacy, at >120 lm/W.
What CRI does the PR-2 Series deliver?
>80Ra is standard on every model, so colors look natural rather than washed out. 90Ra and 95Ra are available on request — worth specifying for retail, showrooms and design-focused spaces.
